UPDATED - March 1, 2022
Hello Sokol Spirit Families,
Throughout the pandemic response, Sokol Spirit has worked diligently to provide safe access to our programs.
Beginning Tuesday, March 1 we will recommend, but not mandate, that participants, spectators, and staff wear masks while inside the Sokol Spirit building. In-line with the anticipated changes from the Cook County Department of Public Health, we will also lift the 18 and over vaccination requirement to participate in physical programming at Sokol Spirit.
As we move forward, we will maintain stringent cleaning protocol and common sense social distancing practices. Please remember, that if you are not feeling well, it is important to stay home.
As we optimistically monitor COVID data in our community, we will continue to follow all local, state, and federal mandates regarding COVID-19 mitigations.
Sokol Spirit's mission is to provide fitness and community for individuals and families through physical, educational, cultural and social programming. We welcome all participants regardless of whether they choose to mask or not. Our coaches will continue to role model acceptance, respect, and reassurance to all our participants. We ask that parents help us foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere by having important discussions with their children about respecting personal boundaries, choices, and fostering friendship.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
The Sokol Spirit Board of Instructors
